Most people are familiar with the concepts of gossip or group talk. There are many connotations surrounding these words, most of them negative. Why is that the case? Are you engaging in healthy group dialogue? Is that even possible?

Join GLOW on Wednesday, November 20th as Kay Pascal, author of Insert Giggle Giggle, Laughing Your Way Through Raising Kids and Running a Business, as she discusses these questions and how this can positively or negatively impact our working environments.

Kay Paschal was the founder and owner of two private preschools in Johns Creek and Alpharetta for 25 years.  During that time she was a monthly contributor to numerous magazines and newspapers across Atlanta on parenting tips and trends as well as business practices.  She was also a committee chair on the Board of Directors for the Georgia Child Care Association, one of the largest child advocacy associations in the country. After retirement, Kay wrote a book based on those articles, expanding into chapters, with more advice and observations and included funny family stories about raising her two boys and maybe not always taking her own advice and how that did or didn't work out!  Kay's book was recently recognized as a 2023 Finalist for Best Book for Parents.  Kay also hosts a weekly podcast on Spotify where she tackles, in 10 short minute episodes, topics of interest to women.  She enjoys speaking and exhibiting at business conferences and parent events across the country.  She is a member of Northside Hospital Women's Leadership Council, WomenSource, and several writer's clubs.  Kay enjoys reading, running, traveling, and of course her retirement.
