I needed a termite inspection for the sale of my home in Buford, so we used Gilstrap at the recommendation of our Agent and they helped us get all the work done needed in our home. The owner of the company personally called me to ensure that I was satisfied with their team's work in order to meet a very short closing deadline.

That being said, I would highly recommend using this company for any of your extermination needs.

WATCH OUT! They are definitely trying to scam people into spending almost $1,000 for whole house treatment when it's not needed, and they try to hide your results. They told us we had termites and needed a whole house perimeter treatment for $900 but they wouldn't sent over the graph of our house showing where the termites were. When we demanded it, they finally sent it and it showed there was no active infestation. Also, the technician is super secretive while in and around your home, wont talk to you and is not allowed to tell you what they find or where they found it so you have no idea if there really are insects in your home.

Charlie, our technician, called on his way to our home. I met him outside to be sure I didn't need to bring the kids out while he worked. He took the time to explain the products and process so that I felt confident and comfortable.

I truly appreciated him wearing shoe covers, as I recently had the carpet cleaned upstairs. Once he was done, he again was very thorough in explaining what to look for, when to call back and what to expect. He was very knowledgeable and that made me absolutely sure that I'd chosen the right company.

I signed up for quarterly maintenance and look forward to continuing to support this local business.

We were really happy with Gilstrap Exterminating. We used them for our termite bond before closing on our house late last year. The extermination upkeep quote was a bit higher than others we had received, but it was still reasonable we were really happy with Gilstrap's knowledge and professionalism. The gentleman that came to meet us gave us a lot of information and explained a lot of things to us that he really did not need to do. We would use them again in the future.

I needed an exterminator, preferred someone local and looked for good reviews . Gold trap met those qualifications and didn't disappoint. The scheduling team was knowledgeable, efficient and very nice. Wes came out within a few days. He was super nice, loved on our dogs and did a great job. I'm very satisfied.

As a real estate agent I am often in need of pest control services, and I mean a LOT. I cannot say enough good about Gilstrap from their prompt service to having the most pleasant and personable office staff I have ever called. They are always helpful, fast and reasonably priced with everything that they have done for me. I don't know what they do to train their administrative staff but they are completely nailing it!

We just moved from the west coast with 3 young kids. Given the pandemic, we're a bit.. safe, to say the least. Gilstrap has gone above and beyond to ensure our kids are safe and our fears alleviated, even coming back several times for touch-up jobs. Customer service incredible, technician (Aaron) is great.

I'm new to Gilstrap Exterminating and must honestly say so far I'm not very impressed but I'll give them a chance. First they have little in the way of personality using robots calls, like one has nothing to do but sit around on any given day THEY choose to wait for their technician to show up....excuse me, you work for me and I pay you. Their technician who came to my home also had no personality and did a mediocre job so now I will have to call them back. I want a reliable service who works for me, does a good job and is pleasant and likable. My previous tech always had dog treats for the dogs, not so with this company.

This family-owned company treats everyone like a member of their family. They are professional, prompt and communicate. They make me feel like I am their favorite customer. I have used their pest control services for four years and this year had to use their wildlife services. Everyone is extremely responsive and helpful. Highly recommend.

I chose this company because of the good reviews and because they are locally owned. I am so pleased! They came out the same day, inspected, explained the options and completed the initial treatment. Excellent customer service! Highly recommend!
