Leading with Purpose & Vision

Leaders spend roughly only 3% of their time envisioning and planning for the future and enlisting their people to behold, share, invest, and execute the vision. However, vision is one of the attributes that separates managers from leaders. In this session, attendees will learn how to cast a vision for their personal leadership and align their people with their organization's mission, vision, and goals.

About our speaker

Janelle King is an Organizational Psychologist and a Culture & Employee Experience Strategist. It is her mission to help people and organizations reimagine and redesign the way they do life and work by creating entries, environments, and experiences for them to live, lead, and work with more meaning, purpose, and intention. She currently lives out this mission through her company the Purpose & Work Institute, a center of excellence for purpose and meaningful work where she applies industrial-organizational, positive, and vocational psychology to create purpose-driven cultures and meaningful employee experiences. Janelle holds a B.S. in Psychology from Howard University, an M.A. in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from Liberty University and is a certified ICF coach and Denison Practitioner.
