In this Glow webinar, you will learn about the generational impact on mental health. Hear from Dr. Aurielle C. Williams, Ph.D., LMFT and Dr. Kadesha Evans, DNP, RN how mental health is affected at different stages of your life, your children’s lives, and your parent’s lives. Learn how to help your children, parents and yourself overcome their mental health challenges, while also learning coping mechanisms, resources, and how to motivate and encourage those around you and yourself.

ABOUT THE SPEAKERS

Dr. Aurielle Williams is the Director of Physician and Provider Relations at Eastside Medical Center in Snellville, Georgia. Dr. Williams is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Domestic Mediator, Arbitrator, and Notary Public. In her professional capacity, Dr. Williams has been in clinical practice for the past 7 years, specializing in adolescent trauma, suicide awareness, and prevention, as well as family preservation. Dr. Williams attended Auburn University for her undergraduate degree and continued her academic journey at Mercer University School of Medicine, where she received her Master’s degree, then completed her education at Walden University, where she earned her doctorate degree in Human and Social Services.

Dr. Kadesha Evans is the Director of Behavioral Health at Eastside Medical Center in Snellville, Ga. Dr. Evans is a registered nurse with a Doctorate in Nursing Practice and certifications in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing and Nursing Administration. Coming from a long line of nurses, Dr. Evans has been a nurse for 10 years in numerous specialties including brain injury rehabilitation, emergency nursing, and behavioral health. Dr. Evans attended St. Margaret’s School of Nursing in Pittsburgh, Pa for her RN diploma, Slippery Rock University (Slippery Rock, Pa) for her BSN, and Chatham University (Pittsburgh, Pa) for both her MSN and DNP.
