GYP Impact is stepping up to support Rainbow Village!

Join Gwinnett Young Professionals as we volunteer at Rainbow Village in Duluth. Rainbow Village is a transitional housing program that helps families experiencing homelessness build long-term stability. Families receive safe housing along with financial education, life skills training, and individualized support services designed to promote self-sufficiency. Their goal is to equip parents and children with the tools needed to create sustainable, independent futures.

Presented by Gas South, GYP Impact will be packing snack bags for the Rainbow Village children in the after-school program!

As volunteers, we’ll play a key role in making this event a success, from a participating in a Poverty Simulation, to snack packing for the children's after school snacks, and touring the property to learn more about Rainbow Village. Your time and energy will help create an unforgettable experience while supporting an incredible cause.

About Gwinnett Young Professionals:

Established in 2015, Gwinnett Young Professionals (GYP) is a personal and professional development program led by the Gwinnett Chamber that seeks to champion young professionals through various community, professional, and social opportunities. GYP is designed for individuals, ages 21 to 35, who are living and/or working in Gwinnett. There are no membership fees/dues to participate. Getting involved with GYP is as simple as attending an event! What are GYP Impact Events?

In collaboration with local non-profits and existing service opportunities, Gwinnett Young Professionals (GYP) connects young professionals with causes that matter most to them, creating meaningful opportunities to serve and make a difference in the community.

Through GYP Impact, young professionals can engage in hands-on community service projects in partnership with local organizations, or explore volunteer opportunities through our Volunteer Finder, a platform that allows Gwinnett Chamber member non-profits to share their needs and rally support. Whether you’re looking to give back or seeking passionate volunteers, GYP Impact serves as a bridge between purpose and action.
