Before retiring from the public sector and founding multiple brands, Risco served as the Executive Director for the largest public transit agency in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. As the agency’s Chief Executive Officer, he provided leadership and direction for all operations of the system, which provides public transportation in Jefferson, Bullitt, and Oldham counties in Kentucky and Clark and Floyd counties in Indiana. With a team of nearly 1,000, the agency runs 900,000 hours of scheduled service while driving 14 million miles on 46 routes, carrying nearly 15 million passengers annually, and has an economic impact of $221 million across the Commonwealth.
