The University of Georgia (UGA) is growing in Gwinnett! UGA Gwinnett Campus continues to expand its graduate degree programs as well as non-credit courses for professional development in Gwinnett. Over 20 master's, educational specialist, and doctoral degree programs leading to a UGA degree are offered in a variety of fields such as business administration, education, food technology, internet technology, public administration, pharmacy, regulatory affairs, sport management and social work. Graduate enrollment exceeds 500 students per semester and over 800 students have completed their UGA degrees at Gwinnett Campus since it opened in Fall 2008. A wide variety of professional development courses are available through the UGA Center for Continuing Education (706- 583-8264) and the Small Business Development Center (678-985-6820).
UGA, founded in 1785, is the oldest and most comprehensive institution of higher education in Georgia. It is also consistently ranked among the top 25 public universities in the nation by U.S. News & World Report, based on such factors as academic reputation, student retention and faculty resources. Undergraduate programs are not offered through the UGA Gwinnett Campus.
