Event Details -- GYP Impact at Relay For Life

GYP is joining the fight against cancer this year and we'd love for you to join us! On Saturday, September 7, join other young professionals and community volunteers as we welcome the 30th Anniversary of Relay for Life! GYP will join the American Cancer Society to Celebrate our Survivors, Remember those we've lost, and Fight Back as a community to end cancer.

There is a great need for volunteers and the commitment is from 10 am - 3 pm. You can also opt in for the 9 pm - 11 pm night volunteer needs.

The deadline to register is FRIDAY, AUGUST 24 so we can pass on the coordination to the Relay for Life staff.

    What are GYP Impact Events?

These community engagement programs are avenues for young adults to utilize their sphere of influence to positively impact others. GYP partners with different non-profit organizations to rally young professionals around different service projects in our community.

    About Gwinnett Young Professionals (GYP):

Gwinnett Young Professionals (GYP) is a personal and professional development program led by the Gwinnett Chamber. The program encourages young business people to develop and enhance their leadership skills, exchange ideas, share common interests, learn more about the area’s business community, and engage in the community’s future. GYP is designed for individuals, ages 21 to 35, who are living and/or working in Gwinnett. GYP does not require any type of membership fees/dues to participate. Getting involved with GYP is as simple as attending an event. For more information about Gwinnett Young Professionals or if you are interested in sponsoring this event, contact Melissa Ramirez at mramirez@gwinnettchamber.org or 678.600.1462.
