You don't want to miss Barbara's personal story of success. She will talk about how she got to where she is today, what has contributed to her success, what makes her different and among the most successful business people in the community, what drives her involvement in the Gwinnett community and what obstacles she has faced in her career.
About the Speaker
It all began with a home style recipe for Barbara Howard’s Brunswick Stew. Today, Suzanna’s Kitchen is one of the premier small food companies in the South.
Barbara is known throughout the community for her balance of a successful business, family and community service. According to Barbara Howard, when your home-grown business gets solid support from the community, it’s only natural to want to give something back.
In addition to growing the business and raising four children and seven grandchildren, her time and efforts have significantly helped other organizations ranging from Rainbow Village, the Hudgens Center for the Arts, the Aurora Theater, the American Cancer Society, Norcross Cooperative Ministry, the Salvation Army, the Community Foundation for Northeast Georgia and Gwinnett Medical Center.
