The Importance of Being A MULTIFACETED Leader

Balancing the role you play as a career woman, mother and wife can be tough. Throw in community service and various memberships to business organizations, and it can seem nearly impossible. But you might be surprised how much you can accomplish when you set personal goals for yourself. Being involved in your job and in a community group or organization not only allows you to grow your network, but it also lets your explore what your passionate about while gaining more experience. Whether these opportunities enable you to take on new leadership roles or simply expand your network, your commitment to being involved in the community can greatly improve your business acumen, management style and your self-worth.

By sharing how she’s used her different experiences to lead teams both on and off the court, Ashley will identify key components of how to be a multifaceted leader and offer suggestions for furthering your profile within your organization and the business community.

  • Setting the right goals
  • Making a commitment to community work
  • Balancing multiple responsibilities
  • Using your experiences to build a successful career
  • Keeping a positive attitude through it all
  • Learning how to Let Go, Invest in Yourself and Get Up
