Learn How to Use Minority Certifications As A Marketing Tool To Grow Your Small Business

At The April 1st   ‘Eat & Educate’ Workshop

 The world of procurement can be overwhelming and very confusing. This workshop will try to decode the certification alphabet soup and provide small business owners with an overview of the major public and private sector programs.

 WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

  • The differences between DBE, WBE, MBE and WOSB certifications
  • What certification is right for you and your business
  • How to get your business certified
  • How to win contracts with Corporations and the Government

INCLUDED IS AN OVERVIEW OF:

National Minority Supplier Development Council MBE Program, Women’s Business Enterprise National Council WBE Program, the GSA Schedule Contract, the Department of Transportation DBE Program, HubZone, Veteran Owned Small Business and the new Woman Owned Small Business Program also called the 8(m) program.

Doors Open at 11:00 for registration and lunch

Cost:  $10 for Chamber Members; $20 for Non-Chamber members ( Lunch is included)
