Button Down Dash 5K/10K Volunteer Duties
Water Aid Station: Provide water to the runners during the event on the course- pouring cups of water & handing them out.

Course Monitors: Volunteers will direct the runners at intersections and turns on the course as well as providing additional security at neighborhood intersections on the course.

Course Timer: Calling splits at each mile. Each volunteer will be provided a stop watch and map of course with specific position marked. Volunteers will be positioned on the 5K course and on the 10K course. As runners pass, split timer volunteers should call out the time listed on the stop watch. 

Packet pick up: Help register runners or hand out their bib numbers & T-shirts.


Back up timers:  Run back up time machines at the finish line.

Food:  Volunteers will work at the post race food area serving and preparing food.

 *Volunteers will receive an "EVENT STAFF" t-shirt, breakfast and goodies as a "Thank You" for your help!-- please be sure to bring a chair if you are volunteering for a job out on the course.
