Event Description: POC: Andrea Rivera Angie Hollanda to speak June 2, 2014, Atlanta – H3 Media and Gisache Productions join with the Gwinnett County Chamber of Commerce to launch Fantasy Magic World, the first ever mobile theme park for all ages that opens its doors from June 27 – September 1st in the footprint of Gwinnett Place Mall. Fantasy Magic World brings together carnival rides, circus performers, magical structures and indoor gaming along with food and live entertainment from around the world in the epicenter of Metro Atlanta’s cultural melting pot, Gwinnett County. “We are bringing to NE Georgia a venue that offers families a summer’s worth of enjoyment for all ages and are making it accessible to all both in location and price” says Natalio Pabon, CEO of Fantasy Magic World. Gwinnett Place Mall, which opened in 1984 and was a staple for shoppers from all over NE Georgia for over 16 years, faced challenges when Mall of Georgia opened in 1999 and later Sugarloaf Mills (formerly Discover Mills) in 2001. Against all adversity, this year, Gwinnett Place Mall celebrates its 30th year in the community and as part of the celebration, Fantasy Magic World re-purposes over 200,000 square feet of empty retail space in the mall that once held the Belk department store and 6.5 acres of outdoor space to build a massive entertainment area that expects to attract up to 750,000 people over the 67 day event. As part of the Grand Opening festivities at Fantasy Magic World, H3 Media and Gisache Promotions are hosting a special, invitation only Pre-View VIP Reception for guests and their families to enjoy the new facilities, rides and attractions along with family friendly hors d'oeuvres and refreshments. As part of the VIP Reception, the Gwinnett County Chamber will also preside over the RIBBON CUTTING ceremony. The VIP Event and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony will take place on Thursday, June 26th from 5:30pm – 10pm at Fantasy Magic World – Gwinnett Place Mall.
