The Atlanta Regional Commission (ARC) is the intergovernmental coordination and planning agency for the 10-county metro Atlanta area, including Gwinnett. Gain insight from ARC Chairman Kerry Armstrong.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER

Armstrong has served on the Atlanta Regional Commission for nearly 10 years, currently in his third term as ARC Chairman. During his tenure on the ARC Board, he has served on numerous Commission Committees and as Co-Chair of the Atlanta Regional Workforce Development Board.

Professionally, as a Managing Director - Development Partner with Pope & Land Real Estate, he is involved in the development, marketing, leasing, and management of commercial real estate investments. He joined Pope & Land in 2012, and his commercial real estate career spans three decades.

Actively involved in numerous civic, educational, and charitable organizations, he is the Chairman of the North Fulton Community Improvement District, and was recently appointed by the Speaker of the House of the Georgia General Assembly to serve on the State of Georgia’s Partnership for Public Facilities and Infrastructure Act Guidelines Committee. He serves as a Director and Past Chair of the Council for Quality Growth, as a Director and Past Chair of the Gwinnett Chamber and is a Director for the Greater North Fulton Chamber. In addition, he serves on the board of the Gwinnett Medical Center Foundation, The ATO Foundation and Richmond Property Group. Armstrong holds a bachelor’s degree from Purdue University.
