Speaker: Dr. Samuel Sanders, Ph.D., SPHR

Dr. Sam Sanders is the Director of Academic Affairs at University of Phoenix – Atlanta Campus. Prior to joining University of Phoenix, Dr. Sanders was Vice President of Human Resources with Convergent Media Systems of Sony Electronics. He has more than 20 years of experience in human resources. His educational background includes an A.S. in mathematics from Atlanta Metropolitan State College, a B.S. in human resources management from Brenau University, an M.B.A. in management and human resources management from the Stetson School of Business and Economics at Mercer University, and a Ph.D. in business administration with a specialization in organizational leadership and health care administration from Northcentral University. He holds several professional certifications that include Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), Society for Human Resource Management – Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP), Strategic Workforce Planner (SWP), and Human Capital Strategist (HCS).
