Georgia State Senator P.K. Martin IV will discuss the upcoming session and what he sees on the horizon for 2019. This annual event will also provide the opportunity to connect with Gwinnett's Delegation.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER

Senator P.K. Martin represents the 9th district and serves as Governor Nathan Deal’s Floor Leader in the State Senate.

He is the Vice Chair of the Higher Education and the State and Local Governmental Operations Committees, as well as the Secretary of the Insurance and Labor Committee and an active member of the Senate’s Transportation Committee.

He was named the 2017 Legislator of the Year by the Technology Association of Georgia. In addition, he has been recognized with the “1849 Friend of Medicine Award” from the Medical Association of Georgia and named a “2016 Powerhouse Policymaker” by Georgians for a Healthy Future. He was elected Chairman of Professional Insurance Agents Southern Alliance and works at Hood Insurance Agency in Lawrenceville.
