Employers should know how long to keep or destroy employee files and documents. Each state and federal agency has a different set of requirements, often covering the same documents so it's challenging for you to know what to keep and for how long. Join us for a review of how long to retain employee documentation as well as employer reports, along with methods of retention and access requirements.

Carmen Hodnett, Risk Manager at Burnette Insurance Agency

Hodnett has been associated with Burnette Insurance for more than 14 years. Prior to joining Burnette, she worked in various management positions in Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky and Tennessee. In 2013, she became qualified as a Certified Risk Manager (CRA). As a CRA, she serves as an outsourced risk manager for middle market, growth oriented businesses, using diagnostic and consultative risk management. She has assisted numerous employers in the Atlanta area with their compliance efforts and helped them develop proactive risk management policies and procedures.
