About the Panelists

Craig Monaghan, president & CEO, Asbury Automotive Group

Craig Monaghan serves as president and CEO for Asbury Automotive Group, a Fortune 500 company with 2015 revenues of $6.6 billion. Asbury is one of the largest automotive retailers in the U.S., operating 82 dealership locations, encompassing 99 franchises for the sale and servicing of 28 domestic and foreign brands of new vehicles, as well as 25 collision repair centers. Asbury currently employees more than 8,500 people.

Monaghan joined Asbury as CFO in 2008, after holding the position of CFO at Sears Holdings Corp. Prior to joining Sears, he served as CFO of AutoNation, Inc., the nation's largest automotive retailer.

Previously, he was CFO of iVillage.com, which he helped take public in 1999. Earlier in his career, he was with Reader's Digest Association, Bristol-Myers Squibb Co. and General Motors Corp. Monaghan holds a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Lehigh University, where he attended on a ROTC scholarship.

After graduation, he completed his service in the United States Army, rising to the rank of Captain before returning to school and earning his MBA at the Wharton School of Business.

Martin Richenhagen, chairman, president & CEO, AGCO

In 2004, Martin Richenhagen was selected by the board of directors to be president and CEO of AGCO. He was appointed to chairman of the board in 2006, and continues to serve on the executive committee and the succession planning committee.

Previously, he served as executive vice president at Forbo International SA, a manufacturing firm headquartered in Switzerland. He also served as group president for CLAAS KgaA mbH, a global manufacturer of agricultural equipment, headquartered in Germany. Prior to 1995, he served as senior executive vice president of field operations for Schindler Holding GmbH in Germany.

From 2006 through the first quarter of 2007-until its sale to Freeport-McMoRan Copper & Gold Inc.- Richenhagen served as a board member for the Phelps Dodge Corporation on the audit, finance and corporate governance committees. He is currently a board member for PPG Industries, a leading coatings and specialty products and services company, where he also serves on the audit and technology and environment committees. In addition to PPG, he is also a board member for Praxair, a leading industrial gases company, where he sits on the finance and pension committee and governance and nominating committee. Currently, he is the chairman of the German American Chambers of Commerce of the U.S. and is a member of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. He has served as chairman of the board of the Association of Equipment Manufacturers and is a life honorary director.

He graduated from the University of Bonn. In 2008, Richenhagen was appointed honorary professor to the faculty of agricultural machinery at the TU Dresden, Dresden University of Technology in Germany.

Steve Voorhees, CEO, WestRock

Steve Voorhees serves as chief executive officer for WestRock. Previously he was CEO of RockTenn. Prior to that, he served in various executive leadership roles, including president and chief operating officer; executive vice president and chief financial officer; and chief administrative officer. Before joining RockTenn, Steve was in operations and executive roles at Sonat Inc., a diversified energy company headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in economics and mathematics from Northwestern University and a master of business administration from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business.

Shiba Russell, Anchor, 11Alive

Shiba Russell is the newest anchor of Atlanta Alive, coming to 11Alive from NBC 4 New York. She is an Emmy award winning journalist who has covered breaking news stories across the country.

Russell co-anchored NBC 4 New York's 5 and 11 p.m. newscasts from Newtown, Connecticut from the scene of the Sandy Hook school massacre and reported live on-site of the devastating EF5 tornado in Moore, Oklahoma. Russell anchored extended coverage of the killing of Osama bin Laden; the East Coast earthquake; and the destruction and on-going recovery of Hurricanes Irene and Sandy. As part of NBC4’s team coverage of Hurricane Sandy, she received a National Emmy and Edward R. Murrow award. Russell is a seven-time New York Emmy award winner.

Russell joined WNBC-TV in 2011 from WCVB-TV, the ABC station in Boston where she was a weekend morning anchor/weekday reporter and the station's A+ reporter, a bi-weekly segment that shines a spotlight on outstanding high school seniors who have overcome incredible odds.

Russell contributed to stories that won WCVB the prestigious Edward R. Murrow, National Headliner and New England Emmy Awards. She and two of her colleagues won a 2009 National Headliner Award in the breaking news category for their coverage of a 7-alarm fire that destroyed an entire city block in Lawrence, MA. While a weekend evening anchor and general assignment reporter at WTAE-TV, the ABC affiliate in Pittsburgh, Russell also contributed to stories that won Edward R. Murrow and National Headliner Awards.

Russell worked as a weekend anchor/one-man-band reporter for News 12 The Bronx and was one of the first News 12 Network reporters to cover the 9-11 terrorist attacks.

Russell graduated magna cum laude, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from the College of New Rochelle and earned a Master of Science degree from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism.
