About the Speaker
Dr. Laura Crawley, assistant vice president for academic affairs and director of the UGA Gwinnett Campus, has more than 15 years of leadership experience in higher education. While pursuing her doctorate in Women's Studies at Emory University, Dr. Crawley served at Georgia Perimeter College as a student affairs administrator. She then became a founding editor for an academic journal based out of Boston University, before joining a branding consultancy as Director of Program Development. From 2009-2013, she ran the Executive MBA Program at Georgia State University. As Assistant Vice President at UGA, Dr. Crawley now directs a campus serving 16 graduate programs and more than 500 students.
