About our Host: Stars & Strikes Family Entertainment Center:

Stars and Strikes is a locally-owned chain of Family Entertainment Cents with eleven existing locations (eight in Metro Atlanta). Stars and Strikes appeals to guests of all ages and interests. Each location boasts state-of-the-art bowling lanes that attract serious bowlers, as well as families looking for a safe, clean, smoke-free entertainment center that is kid-friendly. In addition to bowling, Stars and Strikes features huge arcades and prize stores, laser tag arenas, bumper cars, the 7/10 Grille and Coaches Corners Restaurants and large full-service bars surrounded by big screen TVs for sports viewing.

About the Nonprofit of the Month: Revolution Teen Center:

Revolution Teen Center is Investing in Today’s Youth for Tomorrow’s Future. Bullying, drugs, alcohol abuse, and teen suicide rates are on the rise. Every day the teenagers in our community are at risk! We believe when students recognize their value and purpose, a revolution takes place in their heart! Lives are changed as students realize they are part of something greater than themselves. Confidence grows when teens know and feel they are loved and cared for.

Revolution Teen Center's mission is to provide acceptance, attention and direction to local teens through after-school programs and events. Our vision is to invest in the lives of 7th - 12th-grade teens by providing after-school programs and entertainment events uniquely designed to enrich every facet of a teen's life: academic, spiritual, emotional, physical, and social. Our programs encourage a persevering mindset in the face of life's challenges. Revolution is dedicated to providing a wholesome alternative to existing recreation and entertainment choices, as well as encouraging, uplifting, and helping parents navigate through the teen years. Engaging in partnerships with parents, teachers, and members of the community, we empower students to recognize their value and step into their purpose. We inspire students to seek out connections that will promote positive life change and growth through mentorship, serving and leadership opportunities. Our summer hours are Mondays and Thursdays from 1pm-6:30pm and one Friday night event each month. We are located at Pike Center, 585 Old Norcross Rd., Suite K, Lawrenceville, Ga 30046.
