Brief on the topic:

Fortune Magazine recently published an article naming Corporate Culture as one of the most pressing topics of 2015 for CEO’s. It was also one of the top items CEO’s were open to spending money on to address within their organization. Additionally, with the growing percentages of Millennials in the workforce, defining and driving a company’s culture is a critical topic of focus.

Creating an engaged workforce is critical in today’s business environment as the rising costs for employee turnover is a pressing concern for many. Every company has a culture – whether you have a plan in place or not. This presentation will provide you with some unique insights on how to turn a bad culture around, align your culture successfully to your company’s objectives and create a culture conducive to developing engaged employees.

About the Speakers:

Crystal Barnett, HR Specialist

Crystal Barnett has a very diverse 15 years of experience in the human resources management field, including serving as an HR partner in retail, insurance associations, commercial property management, residential property management and advertising industries, as well as owning a consulting and recruiting company. Crystal has been with Insperity two years and holds a Human Resources Management Certification from Kennesaw State University. She prides herself on building key relationships within organizations to understand their business needs.

Trisha Landrum, SPHR, SHRM-SCP

Trisha Landrum serves as a Senior HR Specialist with the workforce optimization solution team at Insperity. She is responsible for the delivery of customized HR service solutions for small- to medium-sized clients, working closely with business owners and managers by providing guidance on employee relations issues, facilitating training and other HR-related projects. Prior to joining Insperity, Trisha worked in human resources for over 20 years as a recruiter, HR generalist and HR manager, primarily in the banking and finance industries. Serving at Insperity for the past eight years, Trisha obtained her HR Certification from Kennesaw State University, as well as her Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification and her SHRM Senior Certified Professional designation.

Kevin Ford is a Business Performance Advisor with Insperity. His background in the national recruitment of over 600 new employees per year from a pool of thousands of candidates has prepared him to advise companies on best practices for high volume interviews, hiring, onboarding, performance management and discharge. He has extensive experience working with Millennials and helping grow multiple companies to acquisition through attracting, developing, and leading employees in high-growth environments. He currently helps local businesses navigate the complex waters of employee attraction, retention, development, career pathing, HR strategy and medical benefits consulting. Kevin is also the founder and president of the local award-winning 501c3 nonprofit Kingdom Kids, based here in Gwinnett.

Stephanie Moyer serves as a Business Performance Advisor with Insperity. Her professional experience with recruiting, training and managing over 600 employees around the country over the past several years has provided her with expertise in the fields of recruitment, performance management, training and development, and conflict resolution. She works with local businesses to create corporate cultures that are conducive to creating engaged employees. She is also a board member for the Young Professionals of Gwinnett and the Technology Association of Georgia.
